Meat -
Our beef animals are raised on our farm from calves without the use of hormones, growth stimulants, implants, artificial proteins,
antibiotics or residue of any kind. Our cattle roam freely in the pasture and are fed a diet of our own grass, hay and
alfalfa during the winter months. Their diets are supplemented with corn, soy and minerals.
All beef is custom processed at a family owned USDA approved facility. All beef is flash frozen
and vacuum packed in meal size portions.
CSA options are available
This is a five month CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) with pick up once a
month.
Pick up is once each
month on the 1st or 3rd week.
Special arrangements are possible; all five months must be
consecutive.
Option 1: 20 lbs Monthly
Option 2: 10 lbs Monthly
Our all natural beef share will contain approximately 1/3 steaks, 1/3 ground, 1/3 roasts
Steaks: T-bone, porterhouse, rib steak, cube steak, sirloin, Delmonico,strip, sirloin tip, and shaved sandwich steak.
Hamburger: We will also offer stew beef, soup bones and short ribs in the category when they are available.
Roasts: Chuck roast, London broil, arm roast, round roast, rump roast and brisket.
If this quantity of meat is too much for your family or
your freezer our meat is always
available in meal size packages at our farm. It's also a way for you to
try the quality of our meat before purchasing a larger
quantity.
